Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Paylnz ("the Service", "the Platform"), you ("User", "you") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws of Sri Lanka. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
These terms apply to all users including owners, managers, cashiers, accountants, and stock controllers operating under an owner account.
Description of Service
Paylnz is a cloud-based point-of-sale, inventory management, and business analytics platform designed for retail shops and vehicle dealerships operating in Sri Lanka. The Service includes:
- POS billing, invoicing, and receipt generation
- Inventory and stock management including purchase orders
- Multi-branch management with role-based access control
- Vehicle dealership management tools
- Financial reporting including profit & loss statements
- Customer ledger and credit sales tracking
- Subscription management and billing
The Service is provided on a subscription basis. Feature availability depends on the plan you have subscribed to.
Account Registration
To use Paylnz you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorised access
- Notify us immediately at paylnz.com@gmail.com if you suspect any breach of security
- Not share your login credentials with unauthorised persons
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
One owner account may have multiple employees (sub-users) up to the limits of your subscription plan. The owner is responsible for all actions taken by their sub-users.
Subscription & Payment
Paylnz operates on a monthly subscription model. Plans are detailed on the pricing page. By subscribing you agree to the following:
- Payments are processed manually via bank transfer or ATM cash deposit to the bank account specified during payment
- You must transfer the exact amount stated any difference delays activation
- After transferring, you must submit your bank reference number via the platform or WhatsApp within the token validity window
- Subscriptions are activated within 30 minutes of proof verification during business hours
- Plans are non-refundable once activated see our Refund Policy
- Unused days from your current plan are not carried forward when upgrading
- Downgrade to a lower plan is only available after your current plan expires
- Paylnz reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
Free trial access is provided for 7 days from the date of registration. No payment is required for the trial period.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Paylnz to:
- Record, process, or facilitate any illegal transaction under Sri Lankan law
- Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or any disruptive material
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform
- Use automated tools to scrape, extract, or harvest data from the platform
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Share account credentials with competitors or use the platform for competitive intelligence
- Circumvent subscription limits by creating multiple free trial accounts
Intellectual Property
All content, design, software, code, trade names, logos, and trademarks within Paylnz are the exclusive property of Paylnz and its developer. All rights reserved.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform solely for your own internal business purposes during the subscription period.
Your business data (sales records, customer details, product information) remains your property. Paylnz does not claim ownership over data you enter into the platform.
Data & Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our full data practices are described in the Privacy Policy. In summary:
- We collect only the data necessary to provide the Service
- We do not sell your personal or business data to third parties
- Data is stored on servers located within or connected to Sri Lanka
- You may request deletion of your account and data at any time
Limitation of Liability
Paylnz is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, Paylnz and its developer shall not be liable for:
- Loss of business, profits, revenue, or data arising from use of the platform
- Service interruptions, downtime, or data loss due to technical failures
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Actions taken by your employees using their assigned roles on the platform
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.
Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time:
- By you: Stop using the platform and do not renew your subscription. Your account will remain accessible until the end of the paid period.
- By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay subscription fees.
Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease. We will retain your data for 30 days after which it may be permanently deleted. You may request a data export before termination.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify active subscribers via email or in-app notification.
Your continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
